• October 7, 2008 public workshop on the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) being prepared under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the grandfathered phaseout of noisier aircraft at VNY. • November 5, 2008: A public workshop was held on the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) being prepared under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the grandfathered phaseout of noisier aircraft at VNY.
• May 4, 2009 Board of Airport Commissioners agenda item recommending adoption of the “Van Nuys Airport Noisier Aircraft Phaseout Ordinance with Historic, Maintenance, and Stage 3 and 4 Aircraft Exemptions“ (Alternative 2 in the Final EIR). • February 1, 2010: Board of Airport Commissioners agenda item, "VNY Part 150 and Part 161 Status Update."
